Favorite Restaurants in Sanur Bali

SANUR BATU JIMBAR CAFE, Jalan Danau Tamblingan No. 152, is a cafe popular with casual and regular visitors to Sanur and expatriates who gather here for breakfast, lunch and dinner under large trees. You can choose from a number of fresh fruit juices, salads and snacks, vegetables and herbs are grown on the farm near owner of Bedugul. At the rear of the open-air restaurant is a good library that also carries international newspapers.

Air conditioning KAFE WAYANG, Komplek Sanur Raya No. 12 - 14 years at the By-Pass in front of the Radisson Hotel, has become very popular during lunchtime. Businesspeople take advantage of local relaxation (indoor) tropical garden, creativity and Mediterranean cuisine, Asian, and excellent desserts. From 4 pm until the end, you can also choose from a variety of delicious "Tapas". Friday night is Jam Session 9:00 pm - see Bali after Dark.

TELAGA NAGA (operated by the Hyatt Hotel Sanur in Bali and located right in front of the hotel, on the main road) has a beautiful garden with ponds and ducks, bridges, houses, and generally well-prepared Chinese food . Try "Smoked Duck." The birds served here are imported from the United States and - unlike their Asian parents - a lot of tender meat. I can also recommend the chicken in sesame sauce (in many places called "Bon Bon Chicken"), the Hot & Sour Soup, and Scallops in Black Bean Sauce. Expect to pay hotel prices, it that is to say, dinner for two around $ 50 to $ 60 with a beer, but not wine.

The beautiful SLAVYANKA Russian Restaurant & Bar, Jalan By-Pass No. 121xx (the southern part of Sanur, near Jalan Danau Poso) was opened in June 2007. The interior comfort of the dining room has many paintings and tsars of Russia is establishing new standards of Sanur. Air conditioning helps to relax, even hot and humid day on, the service is attentive and we enjoyed most of the dishes prepared under the supervision of the Head of Ukraine. Various specialties of fish, chicken liver with apples and onions, and various Russian Borsht dishes of potatoes and cranberries venisson are quite unique.

The small wine list is reasonably priced (from about 200000 rupiah per bottle) and a very pleasant dinner for two at SLAVYANKA should be in the order of 250000 to 400000 rupees, over drinks. Finally, the fine cuisine has come to Sanur, and at reasonable prices.

Also relatively new to Sanur (well established in Kuta and Seminyak for some time now, see comments below) is the outdoor GATEWAY OF INDIA, Jalan Danau Tamblingan just south of the Hyatt Bali and on the same side of the road. The Indian food is delicious and irresistible, and it can not be compared to any other restaurant in Sanur claiming to serve food in the sub-continent. The setting here is more enjoyable than the other two powers, and the prices are reasonable. For further details please turn to the review of the lower limb Seminyak. A great place for a reasonable price Thai Food is at the Mezzanine Puri Santrian to Sanur. Cooking Thai Supachai definitely knows what he is doing, and we really enjoy his beef salad, Thom Yum Goong and other dishes. But talk to him personally to place your order and specify how you like it spicy. Expect to pay about 150000 rupees per person, without drinks.

The SANUR BEACH MARKET restaurant at the end of Jalan Segara served from noon to 9:00 pm 10.00 or a choice of the Indonesian, Balinese and Chinese dishes with an emphasis on seafood. Great location, good food in an unpretentious setting, and reasonable prices.

They are generally sold! Bali will host the most popular is back! After deciding to leave the restaurant KOKI because of a dispute with the owner of premises Charlevoix Austrian Olaf Aistleitner and some of his excellent staff can be found today in the air-conditioned ARENA Sports Cafe in Jalan By-Pass in the No. 115, Sanur, near And on the same side as McDonalds. The original small and very basic pub has been redecorated and another, more tranquil section restaurant, a large bar and a billiards room has been added, and Olaf continues to serve large portions of its excellent home cooking " mother to make "(Oh, I had a mother like that cooking). The menu has been expanded to the list now almost 80 dishes from countries such as Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Holland, Norway, Greece, Italy, Yugoslavia, India, Japan and more . Start your meal with a salad of octopus Italian, Japanese Sashimi Tuna, Australian Rock oysters, feta cheese or smoked salmon, then continue with Austrian Goulash with Spaetzle beef, fillet of beef with Forestier jumped portabella mushrooms, pepper sauce, cranberry and frozen potato croquettes, Basil Chilli Squid, swordfish fillet or the delicious filet Dori money butter with lemon or Bumbu Bali (Balinese spice). Or order some German sausage (Nürnberger, Weisswurst, Wiener, etc.), 1.5 kilograms of pork or grilled Knuckle kidneys of pigs in a delicious cream sauce followed by some unforgettable desserts like Apple Strudle, Creme Caramel, Tiramisu, ice cream Napoli etc. Whatever you order, it will never be a reason to complain. Regular guests are mostly expatriates, including many heads of Bali's leading hotels. The prices are reasonable ranging from about 25000 to 150000 rupees rupees (for a huge filet steak weighing 900 grams). All kinds of spirits, cocktails and a choice of more and more wines from Australia, Europe and Chile are also available. See you there!
