Singapore hospitals provide good medical services. According to the figures, in 1996 the number of hospitals in Singapore were 26 and 10668 beds. All health professionals are registered with relevant agencies. Singapore is included to hospitals and private clinics and now offer specialized services.


Alexandria, Changi, National University Hospital, Singapore General Hospital and Tan Tock Seng provide multidisciplinary inpatient and outpatient services. The National University Hospital and Singapore General Hospital specializing in coronary bypass operations, in vitro fertilization and micro-vascular surgery.


Other hospitals, such as Singapore Kandanga Kerbau offer obstetrics and gynecology, and Woodbridge View Road in psychiatry and Tan Tock in the management of communicable diseases.
